According to a written Fire Department statement, eight units responded to the 12:19 a.m. alarm. The first unit arrived 15 minutes later. The fire was reported under control at 12:45 a.m. and extinguished at 1:25 a.m.
Arriving firefighters found the home about 30 percent involved in flames. There was an estimated 50 percent loss to the structure and $30,000 loss to its contents.
Fire officials estimate that $127,500 in property was saved.
All occupants were evacuated from the home and the Red Cross has responded to ensure their immediate needs are met.
